Pundit Perino Purveys Perky Piffle

prop⋅a⋅gan⋅da:
1. information, ideas, or rumors deliberately spread widely to help or harm a person, group, movement, institution, nation, etc.
2. the deliberate spreading of such information, rumors, etc.

'...everybody accused the Bush administration of manipulating science..." - Oh, perish the thought.

...and then praising Bush for setting the table for the Copenhagen summit by promoting American non-involvement in the Kyoto accord, for the stated rationale that China and India weren't involved - oh, and the American economy, as represented by Republican pioneer-level donors, naturally.
Apparently, inactivity can be a spur to future action. In other late-breaking news, water has been alleged to be on the damp side.

Good of Perino to set the public precedent that previous administrations bear a certain responsibility for actions they commit that continue to occur after their term, however. We'll endeavor to keep this in mind for future reference.
Afghanistan, Iraq, the American financial sector meltdown, and how the U.S.A. is viewed internationally come to mind, initially.

What a charming little lobbyist for a failed ideology, zombiefied back into the public zeitgeist and granted some tawdry veneer of respectability for a mysterious reason.
Amazing how 'comity' and 'comedy' sound so similar, n'est pas?

Perino is a credit to her profession.

You know that Arie is grinning, and Tony Snow is acting as her guardian angel.
